Hall and Olson Suspended 4 Games for Brawl
Tuesday, July 25th , 2028
Tayden Hall of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers was not happy with Emmett Olson, and his frustration showed when he went after the Beloit player during yesterday's game at Harry C. Pohlman Field. Both benches cleared as they rushed to the aid of their teammates. Order was soon restored as Hall and Olson were pulled away from each other. They were ejected from the game.
Both players were suspended 4 games by the league office as a result of their tussle.
"It's something that happens in baseball every once in a while," Hall commented later. "We get frustrated with another player and sometimes things go too far. We'll both take our suspensions and then come back ready to play. I got no hard feelings."
This season, Hall is batting at a .274 clip with 9 home runs and 27 RBIs.
This season, Olson has crafted a 4-1 mark with a 5.36 ERA in 48.2 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .253 against him and he has 53 strikeouts.
