5-Hit Game for Browning Friday, June 2nd , 2028 Lugnuts right fielder Spencer Browning had his way with Peoria pitching at Jackson Field and mauled them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Chiefs ruined his great day by toppling the Lugnuts, 5-4. "I had a great day, but you've got to give Peoria credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits." "Oh, we noticed what Browning did today," Chiefs skipper Conner Capel said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him." Spencer Browning hit an RBI triple in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th, singled in the 9th, grounded out in the 11th and singled in the 13th.
