Saltiban Hits in 25 Consecutive Games Saturday, August 19th , 2028 The Jersey Shore BlueClaws fell to the Winston-Salem Dash in FirstEnergy Park, even as 23-year-old second baseman Devin Saltiban upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 25 games. Saltiban finished with 1 hit in 4 at-bats, but could not stop the BlueClaws from dropping the 8-4 decision. "Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Saltiban. Devin Saltiban singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, flied out in the 5th, walked in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. Saltiban is currently hitting at a .267 pace with 11 home runs and 34 RBIs. He has played in 111 games and scored 75 times. |
