Crawdads Cutts Out Rest Of Season
Wednesday, June 14th , 2028
When Hickory starting pitcher Brennyn Cutts was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Crawdads-Ironbirds game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Cutts had sustained a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and will be out for about 7 months.
This season, Cutts has a 5-3 mark in 13 starts with a 3.64 ERA. He has given up 64 hits in 76.2 innings, struck out 85 and issued 35 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .224 batting average against him.
