Season Over for Kelena Sauer in Vancouver Friday, September 4th , 2026 The season is apparently over for Kelena Sauer. The Vancouver Canadians medical staff informed the club that the closer will be out at least 4-5 months with radial nerve compression. Sauer was hurt in the game against Tri-City while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. This season, Kelena Sauer has been credited with 20 saves. In 43 relief appearances and 52 innings pitched, he has a 3-6 won-lost mark, 3.63 ERA and 74 strikeouts |
