Naturals Triumph in 2027 Round 2 Wednesday, October 6th , 2027 The Northwest Arkansas Naturals ignited a huge celebration as they beat the Corpus Christi Hooks 9-7 to win the Round 2. Northwest Arkansas won the series 3-2, capturing the title for the 1st time. "We stepped it up at the right time, and now we're the champs," said Northwest Arkansas manager Rusty Bumgardner. "It's a great feeling." The champs finished the regular season 83-56 and claimed second place in the North Division. In the jubilant clubhouse after the decisive game, series MVP and shortstop Jonathan Vastine said the Naturals have "great fans and they deserve this."
