No Playoff Berth Coming for Iowa Thursday, September 21st , 2028 It "never gets easier" to have a playoff push come to an end, according to reliever Jorge Lopez of the Iowa Cubs. The Iowa player said his club was banking on being able to push themselves into the postseason, but they are now mathematically eliminated. Iowa hasn't yet made it to the postseason.
