Bisons Carter Gone for Year Wednesday, August 30th , 2028 A blow for Irv Carter today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 4 months with a torn rotator cuff. Carter suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Buffalo Bisons are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Carter's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature.
