Texas Playoff Hopes Officially Zero Tuesday, September 25th , 2029 Postseason baseball won't be coming to Texas this year. The quest for the playoffs ended for the Texas Rangers today, as they were mathematically eliminated from contention. "Not the first time I've experienced this," said Rangers manager Geno Mets, "but it never gets fun." This is the club's 3rd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2026. In total, the Rangers have missed the playoffs 58 times in their 69-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Rangers have missed the playoffs 7 times. |
