Houston right fielder Kyle Tucker had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Tucker was 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice, even as New York beat the Astros, 6-4. Edwin Díaz earned the save, his 8th, for the Yankees. The Yankees sport a record of 16-34.

The Yankees got a big at-bat from second baseman Gleyber Torres. For the game, Torres went 1-2 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 3rd double of the season gave New York a 4-3 lead.

"Nice to get this one," said Torres. "Wins have been hard to come by."
