Basallo hits 3 home runs in Orioles Win
The Baltimore Orioles defeated the Boston Red Sox, 13-9, at Fenway Park. Baltimore first baseman Samuel Basallo had a superb performance. He hit 3 home runs. He drove in 8 runs and scored three times. Tyler Wells, 2-2, earned the win in relief. He allowed 3 runs on 4 hits in 2.2 innings. Felix Bautista picked up his 6th save of the season.

In the top of the sixth, the Orioles grabbed the lead when Basallo hit his 17th home run of the season. The grand slam home run off Jhoan Duran made it 11-7, Baltimore.

"If you were looking for a pitchers' duel," said Basallo, "this wasn't it."

Baltimore has an impressive 33-16 record.
