Twins Absorb 9-3 Home Loss
The umbrellas came out during the Chicago-Minnesota contest at Target Field.

Behind a solid performance from right fielder Ryan Clifford, the Chicago White Sox defeated the Minnesota Twins, 9-3. Clifford went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs for the White Sox. The loss puts Minnesota at 6-7.

Axiel Plaz had a key at-bat with one out in the top of the second for Chicago. With the bases loaded and the White Sox leading 1-0, he hit a sacrifice fly.

"That was not our best effort," said Minnesota skipper Rocco Baldelli.
