Twins Squelch Astros Offense in Shutout Win
Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Minnesota Twins and Houston Astros.

Jack Neely was nothing short of phenomenal for the Minnesota Twins. The 27-year-old right-hander was a big reason his team beat the Houston Astros, 5-0. Neely picked up the win for Minnesota, going 5.1 innings. He gave up no runs on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 1-0.

Minnesota took a 5-0 lead on Matt Wallner's 2nd double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Wallner hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Houston pitcher Matt Strahm visibly frustrated.

"Jack is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Minnesota manager Rocco Baldelli.

Minnesota has a record of 6-5.
