Valdez Now 1-2 Following 7-1 Win
Framber Valdez pitched a gem to lead Houston to victory over the Minnesota Twins, 7-1. The Twins fall to 5-9 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2026 season.

Valdez earned the win, going 7.1 strong innings for Houston. The native of Sabana Grande de Palenque, Dominican Republic, allowed just 3 hits, while striking out 11. Minnesota hitters did next to nothing against the left-hander.

"We're stringing together some nice wins," said Houston manager Brian Butterfield.
