Brewers Suffer 7-3 Road Loss
The Colorado Rockies started the 2028 season win an impressive 7-3 win against the Milwaukee Brewers at Colorado Field. Ezequiel Tovar, who finished 3rd in the NL in doubles with 40 in 2024, led the way for Colorado. Carmen Mlodzinski earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. He upped his record to 1-0. Welinton Herrera collected save number 1.

Colorado took a 4-3 lead on Adael Amador's 2nd double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Amador hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Milwaukee pitcher Luis Ortiz visibly frustrated.

"We took home the win," said Amador. "What's not to like?"
