It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Blaine Crim. Crim went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off El Paso pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at Southwest University park, he had a 5-for-5 line and a day he will long remember. And the Round Rock Express had a win, 7-6, over the Chihuahuas.

"Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview.

Blaine Crim singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Joe Ross in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Tony Gonsolin in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

Currently Crim is batting .315 with 10 home runs, 31 RBIs and 21 runs scored.
