Twins Earn Late 5-4 Win
Minnesota beat Detroit at Target Field, eking out a 5-4 win. The win was due in large part to right fielder Matt Wallner. He was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Griffin Jax earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. His record is now 7-4. Minnesota is 74-83 and Detroit, with the loss, 78-79.

Minnesota fans at Target Field were rewarded for their support of the Twins with a nice win.
