Nationals Park was host to some action-packed drama.

The Washington Nationals defeated the New York Mets, 4-2. Left Fielder Michael Conforto deserved a large share of the credit. Conforto belted 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Nationals. New York has now lost 4 straight.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Conforto hit a fastball from Ryan Pressly for a 2-run home run. The Nationals, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Conforto said in his postgame press conference.
