Mitchell Goes Deep Twice in 11-4 Brewers Win
The Milwaukee Brewers grabbed a win, 11-4, over the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park. Milwaukee center fielder Garrett Mitchell slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. The winner in relief was Joel Payamps. He is now 6-7. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. The third-place Brewers lifted their record to 77-80.

In the top of the seventh, the Brewers grabbed the lead when Mitchell hit his 16th home run of the season. The solo home run off Ryan Borucki made it 5-4, Milwaukee.

"The key is not trying to do too much," said Mitchell.
