Rangers 6-1 Victors Over Cleveland
|
Texas Rangers starter Dave Harnsberger turned in a top-notch performance against the Cleveland Guardians at Progressive Field. The result was a win for the Rangers, 6-1. At 70-78, the Rangers are currently second in the American League West Division.
Jett Williams had a big 2-run home run for the Rangers in the top of the second inning. With Texas leading 3-1 and a runner on 3rd, he sized up a curveball from 31-year old right-handed pitcher Mitch Spence and punished it. The result was his 18th home run of the season, which put the Rangers on top, 5-1.
"All in all, I thought Dave pitched a fine game for us tonight," said Texas manager Geno Mets.
