Brewers Earn Late Win
The Milwaukee Brewers downed the New York Mets, 7-6, in 10 innings at American Family Field. The Brewers were led by Jackson Chourio. Chourio was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times. Milwaukee reliever Trevor Megill picked up the win, raising his record to 7-5. Gabriel Hughes was tagged with the loss. Milwaukee is third in the National League Central Division with a record of 58-64.

The decisive blow was delivered by Joey Ortiz in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a run-scoring double off 24-year old right-handed pitcher Gabriel Hughes to win the game for Milwaukee. The home crowd went nuts.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Ortiz said in his postgame press conference.
