Astros Win with Late Rally
|
The Houston Astros got a magnificent effort from pitcher Reynaldo Lopez, who kept Seattle hitters in check en route to a 2-1 Astros win at Minute Maid Park. Reliever Josh Hader picked up the win. His record improves to 4-4. Caleb Ferguson, who leads the AL in holds with 18, took the loss. The Mariners have now dropped 5 straight.
The Astros got a clutch hit from third baseman Rafael Ramirez Jr.. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Astros.
"Reynaldo threw a phenomenal game," said Houston manager Fredi Gonzalez.
