Cleveland shortstop Gabriel Arias helped his team beat the Los Angeles Angels, 8-4. Arias went 2 for 4 for the Guardians. The win makes Cleveland 55-53.

Cooper Kinney had a big 2-run home run for the Guardians in the bottom of the third inning. With Cleveland leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a fastball from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Zach Showalter and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Guardians on top, 3-0.

"It never gets old," said Arias. "Winning, that is."
