Cody Bellinger left his imprint on the 9-7 Chicago win against the Cincinnati Reds. Bellinger, who finished 2nd in the NL in slugging percentage with .629 in 2019, was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Chicago reliever Yenrri Rojas picked up the win, upping his record to 3-4. Alimber Santa absorbed the loss. The first-place Cubs have won 6 in a row.

In the bottom of the eighth, the Cubs grabbed the lead when Bellinger hit his 3rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run off Alimber Santa made it 6-5, Chicago.

"Just glad I could help us get a win," said Bellinger.
