Rangers Win 7-6 Walk-Off
|
Houston got a terrific game from right fielder Kyle Tucker. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Texas, 7-6. Tucker hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Zack Littell, now 1-3, picked up the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. The Texas win streak is now 3 games.
Texas got a clutch hit from Tyler O'Neill. The right fielder launched a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.
"It feels good, just a great win all around," O'Neill said after the game.
