The Cincinnati Reds overcame a good performance by Houston center fielder Chase Brunson to knock off Houston, 11-7, at Minute Maid Park. Brunson was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Picking up the win was Minjae Seo. He went 7 innings, allowing 4 runs on 9 hits. The right--hander struck out 2 and walked 1. With the win, the Reds have a record of 36-35.

Cincinnati center fielder Hector Rodriguez contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the first. With two down, he hit a curveball to right-center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 82nd hit of the season and put the Reds ahead, 1-0.

"I felt good up there," said Rodriguez. "I saw the ball well."
