The Houston Astros spoiled a good performance by Toronto designated hitter Will Benson, bumping off Toronto, 6-4, at Minute Maid Park. Benson was 3-4 with 2 home runs. The defeat makes Toronto 70-69.

Houston got a knockout punch from Jeremy Pena. The shortstop hammered a 3-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"He who laughs last laughs best," Pena said, postgame.
