Twins Get Hard-Earned Win
The Minnesota Twins beat the Cleveland Guardians, 4-3, at Target Field. Brooks Lee went 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The fan favorite was a menace to Cleveland all day. Minnesota reliever Brusdar Graterol got the win, raising his record to 5-0. Jervis Alfaro was tagged with the loss. Minnesota is now 31-26. Cleveland is 30-27.

Matt Wallner was the walk-off hero for Minnesota. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Twins right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Minnesota manager Rocco Baldelli.
