Rangers Roll to 8-2 Win Over Athletics
|
2026 is shaping up to be a forgettable year for the Oakland Athletics.
The Texas Rangers powered past the Oakland Athletics, 8-2, at Globe Life Field. Blaine Crim went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2, to lead the charge. With the win, the Rangers have a record of 63-58.
With Texas leading 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Crim hit a cutter from Brody Brecht for a 2-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Rangers ahead, 3-0.
"We'll need a much better effort, the next time out," said losing manager Mark Kotsay.
