Twins Capture Close Win
The Seattle Mariners and Minnesota Twins provided some drama for the home crowd.

In a tight contest at T-Mobile Park, the Minnesota Twins edged the Seattle Mariners by the score of 6-5. Minnesota center fielder Walker Jenkins, who blasted 2 home runs, was a key contributor. Griffin Jax snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits over 2 innings. He's now 4-1 on the season.

Minnesota used the timely hitting of Matt Wallner to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Twins on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Wallner said.

Minnesota raised its record to 28-22 with the win.
