Tronstein Cracks 5 Hits
It was a downpour of hits for James Tronstein at Houston Astros Blue Complex.

The Seattle (DSL) Mariners center fielder tore into Houston (DSL) for 5 hits in 5 at-bats to pace the Mariners to a rain-delayed 12-9 victory. Houston (DSL) manager Kevin Cash bemoaned his pitching, speculating his club got flustered by Tronstein's big day.

"He was beating us and we stopped locating well," he said. "That makes you get behind in the count and you can't do that when a guy is hot like Tronstein was today. Not to take anything away from him, but bad location was the story of the ballgame."

James Tronstein doubled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Zach Strickland in the 5th, walked in a run in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Manel Abraos in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
