It was a downpour of hits for Carter Johnson at Minnesota Twins Academy.

The Miami (DSL) Marlins 2 second baseman tore into Minnesota (DSL) for 5 hits in 5 at-bats to pace the Marlins 2 to a rain-delayed 17-2 victory. Minnesota (DSL) manager Rafael Martinez bemoaned his pitching, speculating his club got flustered by Johnson's big day.

"He was beating us and we stopped locating well," he said. "That makes you get behind in the count and you can't do that when a guy is hot like Johnson was today. Not to take anything away from him, but bad location was the story of the ballgame."
