Delgado Rips HR Number 300 Thursday, September 27th , 2068 It's official. Rickey Delgado of the Wicker Park Devil Cats hit his 300th home run tonight. The Wicker Park Devil Cats took on the Texas Renegades and downed them 9-3, but the big story of the night was the milestone home run for Delgado. He rounded the bases with a smile and politely stepped on home plate and walked back to the dugout. "300 is a big number, and I am thankful for the ability to get to this milestone. But it's all about the team today, my accomplishments are just one piece to the Devil Cats puzzle." The Devil Cats first baseman went 3-for-4 with 1 home run and 2 RBI as the Wicker Park Devil Cats topped the Texas Renegades. Delgado has a career .269 batting average and .362 on-base percentage.
