Ludington Swaps Ferrell to Iowa City for Varela Sunday, July 22nd , 2068 Ludington and Iowa City have agreed in principle to a trade. The LumberJacks will send 21-year old minor league 1B Robert Ferrell to the Stalkers for 34-year old CF César Varela. The deal is expected to be finalized shortly and the clubs will be introducing their new players to the press when the paperwork is complete. Varela is batting at a .191 pace this season, picking up 66 hits in 346 at-bats with 4 home runs, 25 RBIs and 31 runs scored. |
