Indians Send Gerhart to Ludington Sunday, June 17th , 2068 The Indianapolis Indians and Ludington LumberJacks have put the finishing touches on a deal that was weeks in the making. Indianapolis will part with 23-year old CF Tom Gerhart, while the LumberJacks have dealt a 6th round draft pick. "This one took a while to figure out," said Indianapolis general manager Mike Leslie. "We must have gone back to the drawing board five or six times over the past few weeks. I'm glad we finally got the deal done. I think it is a good one for both clubs." In his season totals, Gerhart has 5 home runs, .214 BA, .231 OBP, 15 RBIs and 14 runs scored. He has played in 63 games. |
