Martínez, Ornelas Swap Teams Sunday, May 25th , 2070 The Boomsticks announced today the acquisition of 34-year old SS Paul Ornelas from the Newcastle House of Brews in exchange for 21-year old minor league LHP Fernando Espinoza and 22-year old minor league RF Tomás Martínez. "This isn't the biggest deal out there," acknowledged the Boomsticks, "but it should help out both clubs." A look at his season totals shows Ornelas with 3 home runs, .275 BA, .309 OBP, 9 RBIs and 21 runs scored. |
