Betancourt Shuts Out Letterkenny, 2-0 Tuesday, June 11th , 2069 In an excellent mound performance, Tony Betancourt of the Iowa City Stalkers blanked the Letterkenny Shamrocks, 2-0, on a 1-hitter. "I had my best stuff and did a good job of mixing up my pitches," he said after the game. In all, the Iowa City hurler rang up 5 strikeouts and 3 walks in the shutout win. "We just didn't swing the bats well today," said Shamrocks manager Matt Philpott. "Betancourt did a good job keeping us guessing." This year, Betancourt has recorded a 6-6 mark.
