Drifters Advance to Ben Franklin Cup Saturday, October 13th , 2068 The Dam Site Drifters are bound for the Ben Franklin Cup. A 10-5 win over the Motown Hitmakers at Superior Stadium ended the Alexander Hamilton Cup, 4-2. "We're not trying to get ahead of ourselves, but it's hard not to get pumped up and excited and think about how this season could end," said Ezio Galante. "This could be the biggest celebration Dam Site has ever seen if we can win the Walt Partlo Memorial Cup." The state of the To The Wall Baseball championship remains in doubt, but the Drifters certainly appear to be strong contenders. Galante was named MVP of the Alexander Hamilton Cup after he posted a .458 batting average, while adding 0 home runs, driving in 4 RBI and scoring 4 runs. The Dam Site Drifters don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Reykjavik Phoenix - Wicker Park Devil Cats series. Reykjavik leads the series 3 games to 2.
