Wilkerson Delivers 2-1 Win
Ron Wilkerson never let the Indians get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Yard Cats to a win, 2-1. Ypsi is 7th in the To The Wall Baseball Nationalist League with a record of 77-83.

Wilkerson subdued the Indianapolis offense. The Ypsi right-hander allowed a mere 3 hits over 8.1 innings, while fanning 12. His season record goes to 13-16 with the win.

Wilkerson said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
