Drifters Stick Brawlers with 4-1 Loss

Dam Site and B.C. duked it out and the Drifters came out victorious.
The Dam Site Drifters defeated the B.C. Brawlers, 4-1, in To The Wall Baseball action at The Lab. Dam Site pitcher Akahele Maninga had a standout performance. In 8 innings, Maninga surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 9 and walking 3. He allowed 1 run. Steve Avery got the save, his 13th in 18 chances.
Ezio Galante had a direct impact on the outcome. Galante contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put Dam Site up, 1-0.
"This is a great group to be a part of, and it's a big win for us," Galante told the Dam Site Chronicle.
Dam Site is now 91-65.
