Roger Dorn, who led the TTWB in ERA with 2.29 in 2062, was brilliant in helping Motown beat the Newcastle House of Brews, 3-0. Motown is now 75-79. Newcastle is 56-98.

Dorn was the winning pitcher. He raised his season record to 8-13. In 8 innings of work, Dorn gave up no runs on 1 hit, while striking out 10. The House of Brews were never able to generate much offense.

"Main thing is I want the team to win," Dorn told a reporter after the game. "Just have to go out there, take care of my job, and give my team a chance to win."
