The Texas Renegades clipped the Motown Hitmakers, 4-2, in 10 innings at The Upper Deck. The standout performance belonged to Texas pitcher and Río Grande, Puerto Rico, native Leland Hernández. The winner was Texas reliever Bob Torres, now 2-0. The loser was Juan Orosco. Fernando Méndez earned the save for Texas, his 46th.
