Rocha Helps Wicker Park Cruise to 10-3 Win
Wicker Park third baseman Ramón Rocha helped his team beat the Indianapolis Indians, 10-3. Rocha, who is tied for 6th in the TTWB in total bases with 198, went 3 for 4 for the Devil Cats. Erik Beard, credited with the win, is now 14-8. He allowed 3 runs on 5 hits in 9 innings. Wicker Park has now won 3 straight, while the Indians have lost 3 in a row.

Rocha contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Wicker Park in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 1-0, Rocha took a forkball from George Goode and stroked the home run to center. His 17th home run of the season allowed the Devil Cats to leap in front, 3-1.
