Indianapolis Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Indians grabbed a win, 3-2, at Victory Field, overcoming a fine effort from Motown pitcher Woodrow Preston. Preston went 7.2 innings and allowed no runs. The 6th-place Indians have won 4 straight.

Luis Fernández was the walk-off hero for Indianapolis. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Indians catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This place was electric at the end," Fernández said.
