Fishers Lose By a Run at Grand Rapids
|
In a tight contest at Fission Field, the Grand Rapids Growlers edged the Wildwood Fishers by the score of 4-3. Grand Rapids right fielder Tom McDonald, who blasted 2 home runs, was a key contributor. The win has Grand Rapids at 19-35.
Early in the game, McDonald had a 2-run home run for Grand Rapids. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Growlers on top, 2-0.
In comments to the Grand Rapids Daily, McDonald insisted that he's not as disinterested as it often appears. "Haters will hate," he added.
