The Nashville Nightmare and Texas Renegades completed their game despite the rain.
The Nashville Nightmare picked up a win at The Cavern, knocking off the Texas Renegades, 3-2, in 10 innings. On the mound for Nashville was right-hander John Aylett. He played a pivotal role in the triumph. Picking up the save was 37-year old right-handed pitcher David Zambrano.
Aylett threw well for Nashville, thwarting the Texas offense. The right-hander tossed 100 pitches over 8.1 innings. He allowed just 1 run on 4 hits.
"John was hitting his spots and everything had life," said Nashville manager Matt Tomczak.
The setback makes Texas 26-26.
