Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Motown Hitmakers and Great Black Swamp Mud Hens.

In a tight contest between the Motown Hitmakers and the Great Black Swamp Mud Hens, Woodrow Preston was the determining factor. The Motown right-hander sparkled in his team's 1-0 win. The Hitmakers now have a record of 24-21 with the win over Great Black Swamp.

Preston scattered 5 hits over 7.2 innings for the Hitmakers. With the win, Preston goes to 4-4 on the year with 60 strikeouts.

"Woodrow pitched like a champ," said Motown manager Corey Slutsky.
