Thompson Swings Nightmare to 6-5 Win
The home crowd had a good time watching the Ypsi Yard Cats and Nashville Nightmare get after it.

The Nashville Nightmare beat the Ypsi Yard Cats, 6-5, at Flaming Ashes Ballpark. The Nightmare got a fine performance from catcher Brian Thompson, who was 2 for 2 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. The win puts Nashville at 21-17 this season.

The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Thompson hit a 3-run home run off Sean Bigelow. It propelled the Nightmare into the lead, 5-2.

"It feels good, just a great win all around," Thompson said after the game.
