Jason Donaldson, who is tied for 6th in the TTWB with a 0.82 WHIP, never let the Boomsticks get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Brawlers to a win, 4-1. The Brawlers saw their win-loss record go to 16-21. At the same time, the Boomsticks fell to 21-17.

The Brawlers got a big at-bat from left fielder Bobby Williams. For the game, Williams was 1-3 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave B.C. a 4-1 lead.

Williams attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
