Boomsticks Topple Brawlers with Late Rally
Asheville Boomsticks starter Brian Miller pitched his team past the B.C. Brawlers, 5-2. Roderick Kinnear earned his 10th save, after closing out the game. With the win, the Boomsticks have a record of 20-16.

Asheville used the timely hitting of Luis Cardenas to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Boomsticks on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Asheville manager Jon Papp called it "a pretty good win."
